Egg Spell for protection

Purpose:
to get rid of negative energies.

Background:
The symbol of egg represents a mysterious essence of life and regeneration. Here you will use it as a way of casting away bad luck or bad things around you. An egg is a living thing and it has power to bring out the evil energy from person and absorb it.

What you will need:
- one black candle (15-20cm long),
- matches or lighter,
- 1 egg (of the best quality),
- glass of fresh water,
- one sharp needle,
- one small denomination bronze or gold-colored coin,
- yew and saffron

Best time
Best time is waning moon, preferably on Saturday.

Ritual instructions
1. Cast a circle: describe clockwise a circle of light all around you, best with your forefinger or just by your eyes. Declare that the circle was done and it is ready for ritual. You should not leave the circle for the duration of the ritual.
2. Invocate of the elements: begin in the east- turn to this direction, call the archangel Raphael and welcome the element of the air. Then move clockwise- turn to the south, call the archangel Michael and welcome the element of the fire. Move clockwise- turn to the west, call the archangel Gabriel and welcome the element of the water. Move clockwise- turn to the north, call the archangel Uriel and welcome the element of the earth.
3. Light the black candle and say: “May the evil vanish from my life”.
4. Wash the egg in the water saying: “You are clean now. May I be so clean as you are”.
5. Using the needle, make a hole into the narrower end of the egg. Blow into the egg and say:”Evil is moving from me, into you. I am pure now..” Sprinkle saffron over the hole to seal it.
6. Call the Power of God Almighty for help.
7. Say: “I´m calling the power of God Almighty, the power of purity and light. ADONAI please come to my ritual, help me and protect me.” Draw with your finger to the air the sign of pentacle* . Then say: “Thank you for your help and protection.”

Say: “I´m calling the power of God Almighty, the power of purity and light. JAHVE please come to my ritual, help me and protect me.” Draw with your finger to the air the sign of pentacle and say: “Thank you for your help and protection.”
8. Meditate. You can visualize light and purity.
9. Thank the power of God Almighty for being present in the ritual. Say: “Thank you for your help and presence. Now you can return to your place”. The same do for all powers you have called: JAHVE, Elohim, Adonai.
10. Now do the point 3 in the opposite direction. You will move counterclockwise. Begin in the north, thank Uriel: “Thank you for your help and presence. Now you can return to your place”, then move to the west, thank Gabriel, south- thank Michael and finally east- thank Raphael.
11. Now you can dissolve the magical circle. Do it counterclockwise as you did it in the point 1.
12. Now, when is the ritual over, take the egg to the garden and dig a hole 30 cm deep. Then cast in the coin and spring of yew. Throw the egg down to smash on them and cover it quickly with earth.
13. Forget the ritual and let the powers to act. Try to focus on something completely different and wait for results.

* Begin in the left bottom of the pentacle, move to the top of the pentacle, then move to the right bottom, then to the left shoulder of pentacle, then go to the right shoulder and finally back to the left bottom.
